Today, after many years of tinkering here and there and not really trying to hard and quickly givin up, I got my wifi nic working in a Linux distro on my old dell 8100 notebook. Hurrah! I didnt think it would ever work with this card. I just figured I had an old card with a bad chipset revision. (Video chat also works with skype on here now too!)
