I should have my notebook back by Friday. When the drive died in Aug 07. They had the notebook for about 10 days, there was a problem getting my “custom” 160gig drive in. Which is now common place. I have to guess that I will be going through this again in 6 months. So I’ll just use my last few post and update them with proper info. If it does happen a 3rd time, my sister said it would be a ‘lemon’. I think that might not be a bad idea in some cases. Of course that would never go over, even though the damn notebook was over 2 grand. Cheaper than some cars, and they cant be lemons, unless ‘as is’ I think. But a brand new notebook isnt sold as is, right? The Mac genius asked me if I stored books on top of my macbook. Really? Who the fuck does that? Like she was just looking for imporper use and could tell me to go fuck myself. They talk to you like a fucking moron, once you mention that your a computer network grad they say, “oh yeah” then get quite. She wasnt too bad, but I left unhappy so she was a total cunt. What would make me happy. A brand new macbook and/or a 160gb external drive that I can store a back up on for when it happens again. The whole thing makes me feel very disconcerted towards Apple. I do hope this is the last time.
